Floods In 1994 , at LA FERTE BERNARD , there was an inundation The rain made huge disasters . Homes were flooded and the streets too ; the river over flowed . It was impossible to move by car . Our school was closed for two days. It was very good for us (!) but not for the population . The ducks swam on the parking lot, the catastrophy was in the news papers and the T.V . The fireman moved on boat on the street with the population. It lasted for two weeks ..... It caused a lot of damage . We needed to repair the electricity , homes, and the shops .It's an event which has marked the population . ARTEC Every year, there is an art and technology festival which represents a lot of pupils from primary, secondary and high schools. Last year, the theme was football. Teams must make robots. These robots confront other schools' robots in a football match. They must pick up balls on a table of four by two meters and throw them in the opposing goal. But for secondary schools it's simpler. We must follow a black line and recover tennis balls and lodge those in a hole at the end of the circuit. La Fracture Du Myocarde We are going to introduce a film that is called La Fracture Du Myocarde . This is a film that was shot in La Ferte Bernard. It's interesting because it was shot in our school and there are famous French actors such as Dominique Lavanant. The story is very interesting for us because it can happen in real life. The real teachers and pupils are playing in the film too. Martin is the hero who is 12 years old. He wants to hide from everybody that his mother suddenly died from a disease. The pupils of the school wrote a song which was in the film.
