I'm very probed that I live in Tbilisi scientists believe that5 or 6 thousand years ago there was a human settlement where Tbilisi now stands. The town grew up along both banks of the Mtkvari River. There are on three sides: Mount Mtatsminda, Mount Tabori and the Solalaki ridge. From the northeast slopes of Mount Tabori flow medicinal springs with a higher alkaline a sulphure content. 30 warm and hot springs wounded it. The wounded pheasant fell in to a thermal. There is a legend about Tbilisi. That on a hunt day Georgian King Vakhtang Gorgasali amid at a pheasant and spring and was healed. And King willed to build a city at that place. The word''Tbilisi'' originates from the Georgian word''tbili'' that means warm. But not only because, Georgian people are famous for their hospitability and in Georgia it means that they are ''tbili'' (worm) people maybe my town's name comes from this. Few cities in the world have ever survived such deadly blow. From 627 to 1795 the people of Tbilisi courageously faced over forty invasions. Forty times Tbilisi rose from ruins or ashes. There are many unique historical and architectural monuments. Among the oldest architectural monuments here are the Anchiskhati church and the Sioni Cathedral that serves as the residence of Georgia's Patriarch. It's impossible to describe avenues and squares, streets and parks of Tbilisi all of them have retained traditional character. I think that Tbilisi is the loveliest city in the world. I love my town very much, and I never wish to live anywhere else forever.
