Hi this is Guillermo Estrada and IŽd like to tell you something about Mexican history:

There has been a continuity in Mexican history ever since several years before the birth of Christ. This cultural process followed a sequence which can be observed in Contemporary Mexican History. Today we can see traces of the Toltec, Teotihuacan, Maya., Olmec and Mexica cultures. The presence of the Spanish conquerers led to the blending of the indigenous and Spanish influences (called "mestizaje") in all aspects of life including language, art, religion and everyday life.

In time the economic and social devolopment of Mexico permitted the Independence movement (1810) and the formation of the Mexican state. Important national heros include Hidalgo "The father of our country" and Morelos called "the deer of our Nation" because he symbolizes the national sentiments. Liberalism came into power during the XIXth century with reformist leaders like Jose Maria Luis Mora, Velentin Gomez Farias and Benito Juarez. The modern Mexican state emerges during the goverment of Porfirio Diaz (1874-1910) with the industrial development..

With the Mexican Revolution the State completed the formation of the character of the nation . Venustiano Carranza , Alvaro Obregon, Emiliano Zapata, Pancho Villa and Francisco I. Madero have been the most important figures as leaders of social groups.
