ANNUAL REPORT

Karen Kirby – Principal Skipton Primary School
We love to learn at Skipton Primary School. Teaching and learning is the focus of our school.
Our school is a great school because our teachers and students all think learning is fantastic and we work together to ensure learning is challenging and fun.
We have two learning units an Early Years Unit and a 3-6 Unit
Every morning we have a two-hour literacy block followed by a numeracy block after our morning break.
In the afternoons we are involved in our integrated units of work.
Our programs are varied and fun and our teachers provide our students with many exciting opportunities for learning.
We have an active school and playground, which encourages students to participate in many different physical activities.
We participate in the Active After School Program and provide after school activities two nights a week.
