Prep-2 Unit Report
This week in P/1/2 we have been looking at the features of each state. We have also been exploring the Australian flag and designing our own flags. In literacy we have been continuing with our reading groups and we have been finishing our postcards. In Maths we are continuing to look at division and multiplication. On Monday to celebrate the Melbourne Cup, in maths we held our own ‘Skipton Cup’. This week’s ‘Student of the Week’ is Sky A! Well done Sky!This week in P/1/2 we have been looking at the states and capital cities of Australia in integrated studies. We have also been discussing the places we have been and the features of each state. In literacy we have been continuing with our reading groups and we have been looking at writing postcards. In Maths we have started looking at division and multiplication and working on our times tables. This week we have also started a ‘Student of the Week. A student will be selected that is seen doing their best work and being a great friend and helper. This week’s ‘Student of the Week’ is Campbell C! Well done Campbell!
