The school operates a Sustainability program, which runs one hour per week for a whole semester.  This program provides real and rich learning opportunities, such as the tree-planting at Stewart Park and participating in Clean Up Australia Day projects in the town.  Past projects have included the creation of 'bug hotels', frog bogs and the continued tending of the ever-expanding vegie garden.
